Level 1 in Kinesiopractic® is the first step in our Kinesiology training course from the ICPKP programme. was previously the Certificate in Kinesiology and is a pre-requisite for ALL of our Diploma’s

Level 1 Kinesiopractic® is the foundation of a transformative journey — both personally and professionally. Over 12 months, you’ll be introduced to the essential techniques, principles, and protocols that underpin professional kinesiology practice. Rooted in the original Touch for Health™ system and expanded through decades of research by Dr Bruce and Joan Dewe, Level 1 teaches you how to assess and rebalance the body using muscle testing, emotional stress release, energy meridian work, and holistic lifestyle guidance.

This level is about more than learning techniques — it’s about experiencing them. You’ll practice everything you learn with fellow students, giving and receiving balances that support your own healing while building confidence and mastery. Each module builds on the last, guiding you to work with clients using the ICPKP® Basic Protocol — a client-led process that honours the body’s innate wisdom and fosters deep, lasting change. Level 1 is where you begin to unlock the power of kinesiology, not just as a modality, but as a whole new way of seeing and supporting human potential.

13 modules (12 face to face 1x home study module)
48 Face to Face class over approx. 12 months
approx. 7 Hours of home study practice per week.
26 hours clinic practice sessions. + 50 hours of mentored client sessions

BKP 101: Basic Self-Care Kinesiology Skills

2-Day In-Person Class + 14 Hours Home Practice

Learn fundamental self-care kinesiology techniques to boost energy and well-being. This course covers self-energizer trigger points, meridian energizer tracing, and walking gait reflexes, along with vision and hearing energy techniques. Students will also explore emotional stress release, goal-setting for energy balance, and whole-body testing for self-care.

Muscle Testing Kinesiology

BKP 102: Proficient Manual Muscle Testing

2-Day In-Person Class + 14 Hours Home Practice

Develop expertise in manual muscle testing and kinesiology energy balancing for clients. This unit teaches dehydration detection, ionization, neurological disorganization, central vessel integrity, and thymus energy balance, providing essential skills for accurate energy assessments.

BKP 103: Introduction to the Law of 5-Elements

2-Day In-Person Class + 14 Hours Home Practice

Gain a foundational understanding of 5-Element principles for energy balancing. This course teaches sound, color, food, emotional, and vertebral balancing techniques, along with circuit locating and muscle energy balancing. Learn to select the best energy-balancing techniques based on priority.

Explore the philosophy, principles, and history of Kinesiology, deepening your understanding of meridians and organ systems. Develop proficiency in a 14-muscle energy balance, goal-setting, and priority mode techniques.

BKP 105: The Law of 5-Elements in Depth

2-Day In-Person Class + 14 Hours Home Practice

Expand your knowledge of 5-Element energy balancing with advanced techniques, including alarm points, Luo points, and acupressure holding points. Learn to test and balance meridian energy through muscle testing and anatomical knowledge.

BKP 106: The PKP Database & Finger Mode Protocol

2-Day In-Person Class + 14 Hours Home Practice

Develop effective client communication skills and learn to build client rapport. This course covers finger modes, the Professional Kinesiology Practitioners’ database, simplified PKP protocols, and age regression techniques.

BKP 107: Using Kinesiology to Reduce Pain

2-Day In-Person Class + 14 Hours Home Practice

Master techniques for pain management using muscle energy techniques, meridian flow adjustments, emotional and postural stress release, and supplements. Learn to assess pain levels and apply corrective kinesiology methods for relief.

BKP 108: Food & Body Energy Balancing

2-Day In-Person Class + 14 Hours Home Practice

Understand the six stages of nutrition, food combining, and how to use 5-Element and food family principles for energy balance. This course includes biogenic, biostatic, and biocidic food concepts, as well as ear acupoint testing.

BKP 109: Advanced Muscle Techniques, Posture & Reactivity

2-Day In-Person Class + 14 Hours Home Practice

Refine your skills in postural analysis and muscle reactivity corrections. Learn to identify and address hidden muscle failure, sustained muscle use, and stretch responses, using finger mode energy balancing techniques.

RBT 201: Clinical Body Contact & Palpation

2-Day In-Person Class + 14 Hours Home Practice

Develop professional palpation skills to assess muscle state and integrate findings into kinesiology treatment. Learn how to establish, maintain, and end clinical body contact effectively within a professional kinesiology setting.

EMS 201: Mastery of Emotional Stress Release

2-Day In-Person Class + 14 Hours Home Practice

Master frontal/occipital stress release techniques, active listening, and role-play methods to help clients release emotional stress. Learn advanced techniques such as the video-rewrite method, guided visualization, and symbolic encapsulation to support emotional healing.

Anatomy & Physiology 201

Home Study Module

Gain a foundational understanding of human anatomy and physiology at the Certificate IV level in Australia. This module covers the skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, and reproductive systems, including muscle origins, insertions, and actions.

Additional Reuirements

All students must complete their local first aid course and provide a certificate to gain Level 1.

What next?

Once you have completed the level 1 Kinesiopractic, you can choose to deepen your knowledge by either completing varying certificates as they are being taught or by choosing to complete one or all of these 4 Diploma’s.
